FAQs

  • TriPeaks uses one 52-card deck with 28 cards forming three pyramid peaks. Play any exposed peak card that is exactly one rank higher or one rank lower than the current waste pile top card. Suits don't matter. Draw from stock when no moves are available. Clear all 28 peak cards to win.
  • Deal 28 cards into three overlapping pyramid peaks. Flip the top stock card to the waste pile. Find exposed peak cards matching waste top ±1 rank and play them. Each player uncovers cards below and sets the new waste on top. Draw a stock card when stuck. Continue until the peaks are empty (win) or the stock is gone (loss).
  • No, there is no wrapping in TriPeaks Solitaire. A King can only be played on a Queen. An Ace works as both a high card (after King) and a low card (before 2), but you cannot go directly from King to Ace or vice versa.
  • When no exposed peak cards match your current waste top card (±1 rank), draw the next card from the stockpile to become the new waste top. This usually creates new play options. If the stockpile completely empties and peak cards remain unplayable, you lose the game.
